Salary Range: $19.50 Hourly
Position Summary
This Other Personal Services (OPS) position provides administrative and programmatic support to facilitate operations related to client services.
The Work You Will Do
- Prepare, mail, and track notices to and from clients related to programs and services, including the managed care pilot program, home and community-based waivers, pre-enrollment, employment, and other programs.
- Enter and maintain data in agency business systems related to client programs and services following established rules, statutes, and procedures.
- Provide technical assistance to regional staff and consumers.
- Perform quality assurance checks on program enrollment requests and other program data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties related to programs and services for agency clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- At least 2 years of professional and verifiable experience with administrative tasks or providing support in an office environment OR a college degree can substitute for required years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Ability to:
- Use APD business systems to carry out job duties.
- Enter data in a professional work setting.
- Demonstrate and provide responsive customer service.
- Use tracking systems to monitor and complete work assignments within required timeframes.
- Understand, interpret, demonstrate, and manage oneself and to handle interpersonal relationships.
- Listen and understand what others may be saying and ask questions.
- Exercise critical thinking skills, including analyzing available information, observations, and evidence to determine appropriate action.
- Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, set goals, and develop systems to achieve those goals.
- Effectively communicate, respectfully conversing with others to achieve a desired outcome.
