Quantitative UX Researcher
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and innovation sector, is seeking a dedicated Quantitative UX Researcher to join their dynamic team. As a Quantitative UX Researcher, you will be an integral part of the Human‑Centered Design and Engineering department, supporting cutting‑edge projects that influence the future of consumer products. Ongoing Contract
Pay Range: $55-60 /hour
Top 3 skills needed:
- Hands‑on quantitative research with biometric/hardware data (eye tracking tools, iMotions, telemetry, biosignal datasets, wearables, hardware‑generated data)
- Strong quantitative/academic research background (PhD strongly preferred, and in addition to education, 5+ years of professional experience)
- Proactive, self‑driven, independent
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze complex surveys and large datasets to uncover user insights.
- Utilize eye‑tracking hardware and software, telemetry analysis, and physiological or biosignal data to inform product development.
- Support mixed‑methods research, including interviews and usability studies, throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.
- Conduct in‑lab and occasional in‑field research to gather real‑world user behavior and context.
- Synthesize data from diverse sources and communicate findings clearly to cross‑functional teams to drive design improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in selecting and applying quantitative and qualitative research methods, including survey design and data analysis.
- Experience with eye‑tracking hardware/software, biosignal data, and telemetry analysis.
- Working knowledge of SQL, R, or similar data analysis tools; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage research projects involving multiple stakeholders and external partners effectively.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience or equivalent research background in fields such as Human Factors, Psychology, or Human‑Centered Design.
