Our client is a well-respected company that has been providing nationwide construction management services on complex projects in the aviation, office, technology, education, hospitality, and interiors markets since 1960.

Position Summary: The Risk Manager is accountable for evaluating potential risks and exposures for the company and developing an effective process of identifying, measuring and managing risks through the implementation of contractual risk transfer, insurance programs and other risk solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation of Corporate insurance program
• Maintaining strong relationships with third party service providers including brokers, insurers, and captive managers
• Identifying exposures, recommending solutions, contractual risk issues and owner contract management
• Updating and monitoring compliance with insurance and risk management proceduresAssisting with managing captive insurance and corporate bonding programs
• Legal compliance and claims handling

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or Business
• Practical work experience, ideally 5-7 years of experience in Insurance or Corporate Risk Management
• Knowledge of construction insurance markets, policy forms, and products, including Wrap-Up programs
