$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Clayton Services is searching for an Electrical Engineer to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $110,000-$120,000/year

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design AC and DC electrical systems
• Program and implement industrial PCs, PLCs, and HMIs
• Perform electrical calculations and ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes
• Troubleshoot installed systems
• Create bills of materials and schematics for projects
• Collaborate with various departments throughout the company on projects
• Other duties as assigned

Electrical Engineer Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
• Computer proficiency

Electrical Engineer Education and Experience:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field is required
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required
• Previous experience working in a shop/field setting and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems is required
• General knowledge of programming is required
• AutoCAD experience is highly preferred
• Experience working with Allen Bradley Micrologix and National Instruments LabView is required
